Why does a sunset have to be in colour?

Hopefully this wonderful image will help illustrate my point.

Full of silvers, a range of tones and with great natural lighting I was lucky to capture this sunset at low tide. The contours of the estuary sea bed add to the scene along with a single boat hull. The crop also helps add a further panoramic feel to the image.
